Last weekend, we went to an ATV adventure park in Riyadh. It was my first time trying this kind of activity, and although it was scary, it was incredibly fun!
If you've already experienced hiking, trekking, road-tripping, or scuba diving, you should definitely give this a try.
It took me a while to get used to it—the loud engine noise, the controls, and everything in between. The slopes of the desert were steep and soft, making the ATV challenging to manage. I don't even know how to ride a regular motorbike, but somehow, I made it through, haha 🤷
Adventure is worthwhile in itself.
New experience
Trying to drive an ATV for the first time
It looks easy, but for me, it was not. While driving through the middle of the park, I kept asking myself, "Why did I do this?!" Haha! I hesitated to go full throttle because it felt like the ATV might burst into flames and accelerate beyond my control.
I love adventures, but this was a different beast, haha! Despite wanting to stay calm, the steep slopes filled me with doubt and anxiety. I saw a couple of ATVs flip that day, which didn't help my nerves :<
Given that I already have titanium screw implants, I was extra cautious. It was nerve-racking, or maybe I'm just getting old and overly cautious. Haha.
